Hi, I'm Jessica!
Canadian pianist Jessica Lui began her musical journey at age 6. After rekindling her passion for piano in 2020, she earned a Bachelor of Music with Distinction in Piano Performance from the University of Calgary under Dr. Lana Henchell and recently completed a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Toronto with Dr. Midori Koga.
Jessica is a skilled collaborative performer, having worked with chamber ensembles, instrumentalists, and vocalists. She has furthered her musical education through enriching experiences at the Orford Musique Academy and Artist Residency, and participated in an intensive NUOVA Vocal Arts program focused on operatic répétiteurs and coaching. Recently, she served as a répétiteur for NUOVA’s The Barber of Seville production. Jessica has also had the privilege of taking masterclasses with renowned artists such as André Laplante, John O’Conor, and Ronan O’Hora, which have deeply enriched her performance skills and artistic perspective.
A recipient of the U of T Music Fellowship Award and several awards from the University of Calgary, including the Yvonne Johnston Award and the Carr Prize, Jessica is inspired by her mentors and driven by her passion for music education. Beyond her musical pursuits, she enjoys crocheting and spending time in the mountains during her leisure time.

An experienced piano accompanist and collaborator, I provide professional accompaniment for instrumentalists, vocalists, and ensembles, ensuring seamless and expressive performances. Whether for recitals, exams, or competitions, I bring musical sensitivity and expertise to every collaboration.
Coaching
If you already have a teacher and would like some extra guidance or help with your music studies, I'm here to support you! I’m happy to provide advice and assistance to help you reach your musical goals. All instruments and voices welcome in-person and online!
